Founded in 1970, AM Engineering began its journey under the name AutoMotors, originally focusing on vehicle-related mechanical work. Over the decades, the company expanded into distillation systems and gradually evolved into a specialized manufacturer of industrial machinery.

Today, under the guidance of founder Anton Cooray—a trusted engineer with more than 50 years of hands-on experience—the company designs and builds a wide range of equipment including capping machines, bottling machines, distillation plants, retorts, and other custom industrial solutions.
